My Story

Carol Moses-Reed was Born in Los Angeles CA May 2, 1962.  The youngest of 4 girls. From a very young age Carol was obsessed with acting and dance. She loved Shirley Temple, The Little Rascals, Janet Jackson and Diana Ross.  She studied acting for a short period of time and starred in several community plays such as “A Christmas Carol" and “Matilda" under the acting company called "The Kazador Kids", In the Hollywood Heights area.

Carol's mother remarried, and a life changing incident occurred which altered her life forever. When her mothers husband at the time tried to rape her and her mother stood by his side instead of hers. That lead her to the streets of Sunset Blvd. Not lng after In 1984 Carol was in a high-profile case, led by the prominent attorney Johnny Cochran that also involved the  NFL Hall Of Famer "Jim Brown".  After being vindicated of all charges Carol makes a conscious decision to leave the potential stardom of a Hollywood lifestyle for a life of prostitution on the streets of Honolulu, Hawaii. Carol was soon turned out on drugs and soon gave birth to her first son who was a drug baby.She tried to leave the life style and moved back to LA but the lifestyle still had a hold on her . 

She soon got invovled with a young drug dealer.In 1991 after the  youngman had been abusive she decide to leave him. He soon began to stalk her for 2 weeks. Despite her father warnings to the youngman to leave Carol along. On August 13 ,1991  he tried to kill her and her son.This ended with Carols father shooting the young man point blank 5 times with a 9MM . The youngman died on the scene. this devasted Carol to the point she became very suicidal,but despite all her attempts she still continued to live.

10 years later after surviving the street, drugs and so much more. on march 23, 1995 Carol gives her life to Christ and marries her ex-pimp. During this time her husband had surrender his life to Christ and Carol followed in his footsteps. Also, in 1995 she was elected Vice-President of Christian Vision Ministries. In 1996 she was Elected event coordinator for "Community Outreach “for Shield of Faith Christian Ministries and Christian Vision Ministries. She was ordained an Evangelist in 1998 under Shield of Faith. During that same period Carol also produced and directed several events such as but not limit to Plays, Youth Choirs, Young women’s retreats and Women’s Conferences. Carol testimony was featured on the "700 Club" with Pat Robinson. As well as Marcus and Joni Lamb on the DayStar Network.

Throughout the years Carol traveled on several occasions to South Africa to minister the word of God. In 1999  Hosted Hawaiian Christian TV Program "Ministries in Motion". In 1999 she received the "Ministry in Motion Host Award" for Outstanding Performance and Productivity from KWHE TV-14 LESEA Broadcast.

Carol now the mother of 5 children moved to Richmond TX in 2001.In 2003 a documentary of her life was produced and won 2 Golden Crown Awards at the Denver Christian Film Festival.  One for the Best Documentary under $50K and another for the best Documentary on a true story. In May of 2006 she was ordained a Pastor of My Father’s House Christian Discipleship Center in Richmond TX. also, in 2006 she Received Certificate of Achievement from Champions School of Real Estate. She was also featured on the Sid Roth show "It's Supernatural".

In 2009 Carol began to manage her 3 young sons as part of a young hip hop.pop. and R&B group by the name of "Tripterror Inc" as well as her daughter Seniah who is a self taught hip hop dancer and model who has Downs Syndrome.  This is when she established her entertainment company Eye Wide Open Events & Ent "EWO". where she now works with up and coming artist.She has produced and directed many amazing events such as but not limited to Artist Showcases, Talent Competitions,Comedy & Poetry Nights, Adult & Children fashion shows to benefit those who have Downs Sydrome.

Within Me Ministries was birthed in 2016 as Carol began to see and recieve her call to minister to women one-on-one. Since that time she has hosted several womens retreats ,conference and more. Carol is now working on putting her true document story on the big screen in hope to help as many people as she can to overcome the demons in their lives.
